Inspiration

The first section could be used for a commercial background, I can hear it in one of the current insurance or car commercials. The second section sounds it would fit good in a video game of some sort, more so an adventure video game. Somethings would have to be changed about the second section to make it fit the need of the game, things such as the tempo and maybe taking out a couple of instruments or adding a sound or two, but yes a video would be great for the second section.

Rhythm/Bass

Electronic drums were used in both section, which give an 80’s type vibe. The first section has more a dance feel to it, while the second section is more of a relaxed feel. The bass in the first section gives a funk/disco sound, while it switches to more of a rugged sound with an electric echo because it’s a double part.

Harmony/melody

The chords in the first section are in A Minor: | Am | F | Dm | Em | - This part is more mellow when being compared to the bass & drum parts.

The second section of this instrumental is in C Major: | G | Em | F | C | - This part is more happier or bright, and the second chord track moves the chords into a higher register which makes them feel even brighter. The melody in the first section is what is know as an arched motif melody. While, the second section does more wandering, then anything. In tune notes that where just being played in no particular order.

Recording/Synth/Sampler

The audio recording (Recording - Vocals at Tracks 70, 71, 72, 73) is of mellow vocals that help bring out the chords more. The original synth (Harmony 2 - MySynth is at track 67) is using what is known as a “sculpture” to reinforce the chord track. The sampler (Melody/Lead - MySampler is at track 69) is used to reinforce the Melody/Lead and is a steel drum.

Processing

The three Dynamic effects used are: Noise Gate, Compression and EQ on the vocal tracks (I used Vocals as my instrument). I also used Channel EQ on My Sampler track. The Time Based Effects used are Reverb which is used on the Vocal instrument tracks. Also, Delay and reverb which are used on the Melody/Lead-My Sampler.  Reverb is also used on the snare. The Delay is on Bus 13 and Reverb is on Bus 12.
